Rainbow Walk - 13.10.13

Set in over 1,000 acres of beautiful wild countryside, on the border of Kent and Sussex, Bewl Water is South East England's largest lake.  It has a 13 mile perimeter which makes it ideal for a half marathon challenge!

For our Rainbow Walk we are asking people young and old to sign up, get sponsored, dress up brightly and then make their way around the 13 mile perimeter in any way they like... perhaps you want to set yourself up with a friend and do it as a three legged walk? Or maybe you want to walk the whole way backwards? What ever you choose to do to get the most sponsorship you can, we can't wait to see you there!
There will be a small charge of £6 for and adult or £3 for a child, to include a t shirt, bacon (or egg) sandwich and parking at Bewl Water.  We have set up a discounted family ticket for £15, and organised a 6.5 mile walk with a boat ride back to the start for those who don't fancy a 13 mile challenge.

Please like and share our facebook page: www.facebook.com/rainbowwalk to hear the latest news and updates on the event, and to help us spread the word.
We would like to raise over £10,000 for Tommy's at this event - if 100 people sign up and managed to get £100 of sponsorship each, this is an easy target!  Register to walk at www.eventelephant.com/rainbowwalkfortommys and then join our fundraising team at www.justgiving.com/teams/rainbowwalk by setting up your own fundraising page... then spread the word and get sponsored (don't worry you can also get a good old fashioned printed sponsorship form for your granny).
If you have any questions or would like some posters or flyers to help us promote the event, please email rainbowwalkuk@gmail.com.
